Project Manager, Unitech Construction Management
Scott Wilson is an award-winning construction project manager, interior designer, educator, and champion for student success. Born and raised in Tsawwassen BC, he earned a Bachelor of Interior Design from the Wilson School of Design at Kwantlen Polytechnic University. Scott combined his education in creativity and systematic analysis to earn a Master of Design in Interdisciplinary Studies from Emily Carr University. Graduating as a design leader, he found passion and inspiration when exploring the deep connections between the interior environment and human psyche.
Wilson’s professional practice experience spans over ten years, including more than seven years in the hospitality, entertainment, and high-end residential interior design industries with noted firms such as Chris Dikeakos Architects and Inside Design Studio. Currently as a Construction Project Manager at Unitech Construction Management, he is a key contributor to educational, commercial, and institutional projects valued at up to $25M with a strong history of leading diverse construction teams, negotiating trade contracts, and identifying cost saving opportunities.
For more than five years, Scott has developed and taught a wide range of undergraduate curricula, including interior design, and mixed-discipline studios, and courses in design foundations, advanced design studies, building systems, and project programming.
