Riley is a Senior Technical Developer at Aritzia, specializing in outerwear and heavy wovens. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Environmental Studies from the University of Victoria and is a graduate of the Technical Apparel Design program at KPU. Riley has previously held roles with MEC and Reigning Champ, developing a wide range of performance and lifestyle apparel.

His career began in permaculture landscape design and carpentry before evolving into apparel development—a path that reflects his creativity and enduring connection to natural spaces. Inspired by his passion for climbing, ski touring, mountain biking, and trail running, Riley transitioned to the apparel industry with a vision to design the garments essential to his outdoor pursuits.

He is driven by a desire to create and guided by a passion for sustainable design, refined fit, and innovative construction solutions.
