Fakher is the Divisional Lab Technician, responsible for keeping the sewing labs and advanced resource equipment running at their best. He ensures that all machines and tools are maintained, serviced, and ready for use, creating a seamless experience for both students and faculty. His role is central to supporting learning and innovation in the labs, whether it’s troubleshooting equipment, offering technical guidance, or helping students build confidence in using specialized tools.

With a background in fashion design and apparel production, Fakher brings a strong understanding of both the creative and technical sides of the industry. He studied Fashion Design at LaSalle College in Montreal and has professional experience in training and quality assurance, giving him a unique perspective on precision, efficiency, and craftsmanship.
