George holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Simon Fraser University. His professional background includes significant roles such as Instructional Lead and later Chief Executive Officer at Make A Change Canada, a national charity helping underserved populations throughout Canada that face barriers to employment, where he managed web technology-related educational programs. He also holds the position of Creative Lead & Front-End Developer at OptoMedia & Web Technologies, where he spearheads tailored web solutions for diverse clients.
Before joining the Wilson School of Design, George has taught at several Canadian post-secondary institutions, including Emily Carr University of Art and Design, where he was integral to the development of the UX Design Essentials Certificate Program. He has also contributed to online learning platforms like LinkedIn Learning, authoring the Moodle Administration Essentials course that has since reached a global audience.
