Roze Merie Cuevas-Otero is the designer and founder of two Canadian fashion brands, Jacqueline Conoir and JAC by Jacqueline Conoir.  With a rich educational background from the prestigious ESMOD L’ECOLE DE STYLIST ET MODELIST in Paris, France, she has built an illustrious career spanning over 36 years in fashion design and business innovation.

Throughout her career, Roze Merie and her brands have garnered numerous accolades, including awards for design excellence, influential women in business, and business innovation.  These achievements have firmly established her as a fashion icon in the Canadian Fashion Industry. 

In 2013, Roze Merie expanded her vision globally, with China becoming a significant business focus.  A chance encounter with a Chinese brand developer led to a partnership agreement, bringing the JAC brand to China.  Within three years, JAC flourished, growing to over 100 stores in AAA-rated department stores across major cities in the country.   The JAC brand continues to thrive in China, building on its strong foundation and expanding its presence in the highly competitive market.

After a decade of success in China, Roze Merie has returned to focus her efforts on the Canadian market, bringing her international expertise back to her roots.
