The Fashion and Technology program has a reputation for creating leaders in the apparel industry. Our industry-focused curriculum includes practical skills and knowledge, providing students with the relevant learning and experience needed to find career success in the apparel industry and preparation for a life of learning and re-learning.

We believe the comprehensive focus of our four-year degree program results in alumni gaining innovative and leading positions in the apparel and design industry, often beginning their careers while completing the program, or shortly after graduation.

Mehdi Abbasi’s design process is rooted in research, experimentation, and emerging technology. Digital tools are integrated in every stage of development to enhance precision and efficiency. Focusing on the intersection of technical performance and ready-to-wear, Mehdi’s work bridges innovation and refined construction, combining functionality with a sophisticated aesthetic. Driven by the belief that garments should be both functional and beautiful, Mehdi aims to design performance-informed pieces for modern lifestyles. He is particularly interested in how new technologies — such as AI and 3D design — can expand creative possibilities while improving the product development process.

Collection Description:

BARAN, meaning “rain” in Farsi, is a performance-informed ready-to-wear collection designed for the fashion-forward urban professional woman. The collection merges the functionality of technical apparel with a refined, sophisticated aesthetic, demonstrating that protection and elegance can coexist. This collection reflects an exploration of elegance in performance — where innovation supports, rather than dominates, design. Eren Berg is steadfast in reflecting perceptions of contemporary art, expressionism & conceptuality through fashion design. His approach to garment creation extends beyond the purpose of conventionality, viewing fashion as a medium of wearable art.

Collection Description:

‘Ami artist’ is a testimonial to design as a form of art. Influenced by the Abstract Expressionist Art Movement, the assemblage explores the depiction of ‘abstraction’ within contemporary design with pieces encouraging patrons to engage with fashion as an intermediate of artistic expression.

Ever since a young age, Selina was enamored by the important and nuanced stories told through the wardrobe in her favourite shows and movies. Aspiring towards a career in design, she aims to convey unique stories, affecting positive change in viewers’ and wearers’ lives. daydream is a whimsical loungewear collection that empowers the wearer to feel joyfully and indulgently themselves. Fostering a space to recharge and reconnect, wearers are invited to feel like the heroine of their own story.

Inspired by technical apparel, each piece enhances movement or adds utility, seamlessly integrating lifestyle aspects. Rooted in slow fashion, pieces prioritise durable construction, high-quality materials, and adaptable designs that reduce overconsumption while enduring daily wear.
