The Wilson School of Design’s Bachelor of Interior Design degree has been accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation since 2000 and has first professional degree status, making it the quickest path to becoming a professional interior designer.

“I am inspired by everything around me which sounds like a really cheesy answer, but I love looking at architecture, going to exhibits, meeting new people, going to see new cultures, and moving to London — I’m just loving exploring a new city.” – Jaeda Drexhage
Jaeda DrexhageI love my job because we get to create super exciting spaces that people get to feel and experience on a variety of levels. The program at Wilson School of Design definitely prepared me for my career.
“My name is Jaeda. I graduated from the Wilson School of Design’s Interior Design program, and I currently work at Soho house as an interior designer. Soho House is a creative members club that is located all over the world. They focus on hospitality which includes hotels, accommodation, clubs, and restaurants for members to enjoy work in and meet new people. I always loved and appreciated facets of design from color and texture to architecture, but I didn’t know that I’d be able to take those passions and make them into a career.”
“My experience at Wilson School of Design was great. The instructors were fantastic. It was a very one-on-one experience tailored to my needs. In the Interior Design program, we started learning with the principles and elements of design and then moving throughout the program, you explore different types of design, going from residential to commercial to hospitality to kind of give you the opportunity of what type of design you like and what kind of career you’d like to go into.”
“The biggest misconception about the interior design industry is that people think that it’s mainly focused on decorating — when the focus is a lot more on architecture and the internal workings of a building.”
“The day in the life of an interior designer can be extremely varied. One day, I could be looking at drawings to review, the other day, I could be going to a site. I could be looking at materials and a concept pack. It could be truly anything. So, every day is a surprise which is exactly the type of thing that I really love.”
