Good design resonates. The moment of impact experienced with good design can temporarily freeze time, and induce an acute awareness & shift in perspective, from the human to the object. This phenomenon can be felt in the perfect thickness of a coffee mug rim or tender jelly texture of a pen grip; these moments conceived are purposeful, heartfelt dedications from the designer to its user. Encountering cases of good design throughout my life is a primary influencer in my own tenets of design. Through my process of examination, distillation, and reconfiguration, I wish to produce design that is true to itself.
