2024 Wilson Grad Show campaign designed by Cherlin Eggenfellner

GRAPHIC DESIGN FOR MARKETING

The sounds of the mouse clicking echo in the hallways. The creatures of curiosity at work. Pushing boundaries, igniting imaginations and offering a tantalizing glimpse of the future. You are invited to witness a collection of seven uniquely different design programs under one roof. The Wilson School of Design Grad show will not only showcase student design, but will embrace the spirit of the curious.

Over the past 5 months, the 4th year Graphic Design for Marketing cohort developed dozens of concepts and through a process of refinement and elimination the chosen design direction emerged. Once the final direction was selected, they worked collaboratively to produce a comprehensive campaign that includes branding, social media, print, display and signage, animation, interactive, and promotional assets. A significant initiative intended to spark curiosity and joy and promote the graduating students from all of our programs. A remarkable effort from a dedicated, talented, and professional group of students, we are grateful for their time and contribution.

THE VISION EXPLAINED
Personal Statement from Cherlin Eggenfellner

Throughout my four years at Wilson, whether by seeing the work of my peers close-up, poking my head into other classrooms, or browsing the works coming in and out of the display cases, the endless creations of wonder created by Wilson students have never failed to fill me with awe. Curiosity is an incredible tool that drives every single person who enters through the doors of Wilson, clearly shown in the outcomes produced by seven different programs pursuing the joy of innovation. The idea of a Cabinet of Curiosity has existed since the Renaissance era. Often a collec- tion of purposeful objects that spur a sense of mystique, the use of this concept is a metaphor for the variety found within this school. Through this year’s grad-show theme, I aimed to represent all the marvels that make up this haven of design.
