Folkhouse Craft Brewery is a brewing community built on the foundation of collaboration by encouraging the local community to come together and learn about, make and enjoy quality craft beers.
The logo inspiration came from the idea that people typically go out at night to ‘hunt’ for beer. I made the comparison to a fox, nocturnal animals who hunt at night: The newfound visual identity is therefore that of a fox, and the tagline “Night falls, Beer Rises” came from the resolution that when the night falls, we pour our beers and raise our glasses. The theme of the beer series is translated into hand-illustrated bunnies. Normally hunted by the fox, these particular bunnies are crazy cannibals and the illustrations are meant to draw you in with their playful shock value. The beer carrier ties in with this illustration style through large, sketchy handwriting that conveys both marketing message and graphic pattern.

Wild Wok is a rebrand of a kickstarter company based in Canada that focuses on gourmet inspired dehydrated Asian meals for the avid adventurer.
The inspiration of the design solution is influenced by Asian traditional characters and patterns but manipulated to create fresh and unique branding. The logo is inspired by classic Chinese stamps to provide Wild Wok with a unique visual identity. To market the newfound visual identity, there were a few components that I considered adding to the marketing, including the meal packaging design. With the Asian influences used as a theme, I looked into traditional patterns that are commonly found in the correlating ethnicity of the meal packet.
