Mugbox is a drag queen-inspired subscription box, designed for the most adventurous of makeup enthusiasts.
The aim of the project is to convey the brand as both a product that is artistic and professional, yet also for the everyday makeup user who has curiosity in learning how to create a makeup look. Mugbox is not only for a certain audience that may identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community, but for a large range of people who want to explore the inclusive and expressive world of drag. The imaginative brand voice, expressive creative direction, and memorable logo and wordmark are clear indicators of what Mugbox is all about.

The main challenges in this project were to differentiate The Terrain Co. from similar brands as well as market the company through online rather than brick-and-mortar locations. The visual identity was designed to look non-traditional next to existing technical apparel brands.
