Tara Callaghan is a highly motivated individual who always puts their best work ethic forward. Tara's journey into interior design began with film photography which later turned into a self-sufficient business. Tara's approach to design is thoughtful and intuitive, focusing on creating spaces that can affect and alter people's lives in a positive way.
The Shelter
With a passion for spaces that heal, Tara was motivated to pursue a project for homeless individuals known as The Shelter, a short-term housing initiative for homeless seniors. This resource will provide seniors with a safe, healthy and accessible space that is focused on temporary accommodations alongside the support they need. Many existing shelters lack resources alongside housing models, and a majority are less than prepared to deal with homeless individuals of older age who have varying physical or mental abilities.
