April Kim, born and raised in South Korea, discovered her love for textiles, art, and artistic pursuits upon moving to Vancouver, BC for high school. April engages in design as a platform to articulate her diverse and innovational ideas. She strives for excellence, regardless of the weight of the task, and sets out challenges for herself to continually grow as an individual and a designer. April values learning and empathy, and through her work experiences, she has identified an ambition to tie technical design and creativity together in responding to the needs of individuals.
