Kayla
Yazdi

Kayla Koochakzadeh Yazdi is an Iranian-Canadian creative. She enjoys combining her Iranianan artistic culture, and contemporary point of view in her designs. Aside from finding inspiration in culture, Kayla draws motivation and creativity for her zero-waste designs by spending time in nature and on the mountains.

Kazdi

Kazdi is a leisure wear collection with zero waste garments for women. The garments are designed and made with color, adjustability and the environment in mind. Each piece is mindfully made with zero waste patterns and construction techniques to help reduce textile waste in landfills and to extend the lifetime of a garment. The colours are inspired by Persian rugs; Burgundy with highlights of bright colors along with subtle neutral tones. The textile print was inspired by an Iranian vintage saucer on top of a Persian rug.
